Ilias Kakis is an internationally recognised perfumer based in the UK, celebrated for over a decade of creating niche and luxury fragrances for renowned brands, including his own label, ILYA. With a career rooted in sourcing rare and exquisite ingredients from around the world, Ilias brings the same artistry and sensory depth to his writing as he does to his perfumes.

His debut dark fantasy novella, Marcel Reeves: The Adventures of a Nose blends atmospheric storytelling, evocative sensory detail, and a touch of the macabre—a natural extension of his passion for sensory storytelling. Inspired by his adventures in perfumery, Ilias crafts tales that appeal to fragrance lovers, dark fiction readers, and fans of fantasy infused with horror and adventure.
